Lovesome Hill Farm June 7

We left Richmond after a delicious breakfast at the Willance House. Not only do they offer a full English breakfast but specials as well, Today Eggs Benedict with Spinach. Colin bakes the bread, shortbread cookies and fudge. They received an award for the best breakfast in a B&B. Today they also offered 3 different fruit salads, scones and rolls. We got out of Richmond with out any problems. We then missed one little Coast to Coast sign and it took us a while to recover. We decided to follow four Australians. They appeared to know what they were doing. They were walking faster than us taking a path that diverted from the C to C. We lost site of them and once again found ourselves in need to find some one to tell us where we were. Fortunately a young equestrian turning into a stable pointed out the road to walk to intersect the C to C. The sky's then opened up and rain began which lasted on and off all day. We walked through many wet and muddy fields crossing over several becks. We finally arrived at the White Swan in Danby Wiske. The pub is about a mile and a half from the farm where we are spending the night. The Lovesome Hill Farm is a working farm. They grow wheat, raise pigs and chickens. They have both a B&B and a camping barn.
